We’re excited to see another valuable course being offered September 17 – September 18, 2015 in Mississauga, Ontario, focusing on an Introduction to MSK Extremity.  MSK Extremity ultrasound is in high demand, and miEducation’s Upper and Lower Extremity course is one of the most recommended by sonographers and IHF clinic managers.

This intensive, hands-on 2-day program is designed to introduce new skills and knowledge of MSK ultrasound to users.  Systematic approaches to ultrasound examination of all areas that encompass upper and lower extremity will be explained.  Topics of discussion will include sonoanatomy of the musculoskeletal system, ultrasound scanning protocols and basic pathology.  This didactic course will incorporate live scanning demonstrations to exhibit proper scanning technique.  More registration details are below:

Attendees will benefit from Dr. Moore’s in-depth and engaging lectures, concentrated curriculum, live demonstration lessons and ample hands-on scanning sessions.

COURSE OUTLINE:

MSK: Lower Extremity Lectures and Scanning Lessons

Hands-on ultrasound training with a discussion of the advantages of access to ultrasound in musculoskeletal imaging practice and its impact on patient care. Training is designed to aid in the development of basic ultrasound skills or to strengthen existing ultrasound skills. A systematic approach to MSK ultrasound scanning of the upper extremity will be introduced for greater diagnostic confidence and patient management. The course involves one full day of combined didactic and hands-on training.
